Comebackové album Je to možná největší comeback v dějinách hudby: legendární švédská popová skupina Abba je zpět. Kultovní kvarteto ve složení Agnetha, Björn, Benny a Anni-Frid vydává v roce 2021 nové album s názvem "Voyage". Jedná se o jejich devátou LP desku, první studiové album od vydání alba "The Visitors", které vzniklo před 40 lety, a od jejich rozpadu v roce 1982.

Album bylo oznámeno v živém vysílání na YouTube v září 2021. Abba se znovu sešla v červnu 2016 a na soukromém večírku ve Stockholmu zazpívala píseň "The Way Old Friends Do". O dva roky později, v dubnu 2018, oznámili, že nahráli dvě nové písně: "I Still Have Faith In You" a "Don't Shut Me Down", hlavní singly z alba "Voyage", jimiž skupina dala předzvěst nového alba. Třetí singl, "Just A Notion", vyšel v říjnu.

Deset nových písní bylo nahráno ve studiu Bennyho Anderssona Riksmixningsverket ve Stockholmu. Všechny skladby napsali Andersson a Björn Ulvaeus.

"Voyage" je k dispozici jako CD v měkkém obalu, CD v jewel case, limitovaný box na CD s uměleckými kartami a samolepkami, limitovaná edice LP na černém vinylu a limitovaná edice MC.

U příležitosti vydání nového alba Abba oznámila jedinečnou koncertní show: V Londýně 27. května 2022 odstartuje "Abba Voyage Show", digitální představení, které v této podobě ještě nebylo k vidění. Ve speciálně postavené aréně v Olympijském parku královny Alžběty budou na pódiu zpívat a tančit avataři Abby za doprovodu desetičlenné živé kapely. Skutečným čtyřem členům skupiny Abba je ve skutečnosti již přes 70 let, ale jejich "Abbatary" jsou vytvořeny podle jejich podobizen z roku 1979.


Abba je jednou z nejúspěšnějších kapel všech dob. Švédské kvarteto vzniklo v roce 1972 a před svým rozpadem v roce 1982 vydalo osm studiových alb. Čtyři z posledních pěti alb se dostala na vrchol albové hitparády i v Německu. Superhvězdy jsou známé díky mnoha celosvětovým hitům, jako jsou "Dancing Queen", "Gimme! Gimme! Gimme! (A Man After Midnight)", "Money, Money, Money", "Take A Chance On Me", "Mamma Mia!" a mnoho dalších. Od roku 2010 mají také své zasloužené místo v "Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame".
