Nine Lives is an album by Aerosmith , released on March 18, 1997. The album was produced by Kevin Shirley, who also produced the band's two previous albums. Nine Lives was the band's first album of new material since 1993's Get a Grip and became the band's best-selling album in the United States, going quadruple platinum. The album also spawned six hit singles, "Falling in Love (Is Hard on the Knees)", "Hole in My Soul", "Pink", "Deuces Are Wild", "Amazing" and "Cryin'".
