In 2001, Air released their second album "10 000 Hz Legend", whose influence on their sound resonates to this day. The sound of the band, which took off in the mid-90s, has influenced and continues to influence several generations of musicians. Like Jean-Michel Jarre, Daft Punk and Phoenix, AIR is a symbol of the international triumph of the French sound. From their first meeting in Versailles in high school in the 1980s, before becoming members of AIR in the mid-1990s, Nicolas Godin and Jean-Benoît Dunckel have created a body of work in which each album represents its own unique planet.
