After 14 years, classical music's most successful performer Andrea Bocelli releases S?, an album of new material that celebrates love, family, faith and hope. Bocelli recorded the album at his home in Italy with the assistance of legendary producer Bob Ezrin, who has worked with Pink Floyd and Lou Reed in the past. "I wanted to go back to memories of being a young man playing piano in a bar. Since then, I've released many albums, sung many covers and done countless shows. I figured it was time to put all my efforts into creating brand new songs," says Bocelli of the album's creation. "S? is an album about heart and soul, positivity and family, melody and magic. We say no too often these days. But yes is the word we say at the first kiss, when we agree with someone, when we want to please someone. Yes (S?) is an expression of positivity, strength and emotion," adds Bocelli.The first single If Only was released on June 15 in three languages and its English version has received almost 300,000 views on YouTube. The single was co-written by Francesco Sartori and Lucio Quarantotto, who are responsible for Bocelli's biggest hit, Con Te Partir?, released twenty years ago and one of the best-selling singles ever.Andrea Bocelli has sung for the Pope, presidents and royalty in a career that has made him one of the biggest stars in modern music history. He has performed in the most important concert halls and opera houses, has sold over 80 million records, won a Golden Globe, seven BRIT Awards and a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
