Rhino celebrates the eagerly anticipated resurrection of David Lynch's Twin Peaks series with a re-release of the iconic soundtrack to the old 1990/1991 series and subsequent film Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me. The two soundtracks, Soundtrack From Twin Peaks and Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me, will be released separately on 180g heavyweight vinyl just before the start of the new season. For the 1990 soundtrack, Lynch enlisted composer Angelo Badalamenti, with whom he had collaborated on Blue Velvet (1986). Lynch and Badalamenti created the soundtrack together, with Lynch writing the lyrics to three songs: The Nightingale, Into The Night and the title track Falling. A year after the release of the Twin Peaks soundtrack, the album won a Grammy Award for Best Pop Instrumental Performance.

Oba soundtracky, Soundtrack From Twin Peaks a Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me, vyjdou samostatně na 180g vinylu krátce před začátkem nové sezóny.

Pro soundtrack z roku 1990 si Lynch přizval skladatele Angela Badalamentiho, s nímž spolupracoval již na filmu Modrý samet (1986). Lynch a Badalamenti tehdy soundtrack produkovali společně, přičemž Lynch napsal texty ke třem písním: The Nightingale, Into The Night a titulní Falling. Rok po vydání soundtracku Z Twin Peaks bylo album oceněno cenou Grammy v kategorii "Nejlepší popový instrumentální výkon".
