In 1999, The Backstreet Boys released their third album Millennium. The album was a huge success, selling over 1.1 million copies in its first week. The album included the hit singles "I Want It That Way", "Larger Than Life" and "Show Me the Meaning of Being Lonely". The album Millennium was certified Diamond by the RIAA and sold more than 25 million copies worldwide.
