When BLACK REBEL MOTORCYCLE CLUB released their debut album in 2001, they immediately made their mark on the music scene. The album, which the band produced themselves, was universally praised as a solid and cohesive effort from a tight-knit band. The American rock band was influenced by THE BRIAN JONESTOWN MASSACRE, LED ZEPPELIN, THE VERVE, THE VELVET UNDERGROUND and THE JESUS AND MARY CHAIN. From the album opener "Love Burns" to the brilliant space pop of "Too Real" to "Spread Your Love", which was used in the film "A Man Apart" and the TV series "Skins", "Black Rebel Motorcycle Club" is an extremely impressive debut. The re-release of the album includes four bonus tracks that did not appear on the original version.
