The album was produced by Ben Hillier, with additional production work by Norman Cook (Fatboy Slim) on the tracks "Crazy Beat" and "Gene By Gene," and William Orbit on "Battery In Your Leg." "Think Tank" features a variety of styles and moods throughout its tracks, including the hit single "Out Of Time," which showcases the band's more introspective and melodic side. Other notable tracks include the rhythmic "Moroccan Peoples Revolutionary Bowls Club," the reflective "Sweet Song," and the energetic "Crazy Beat." The album received generally positive reviews from critics and was a commercial success, charting in several countries.
