Tempest is the 35th studio album by American singer-songwriter Bob Dylan , released on September 11, 2012 by Columbia Records. The album was recorded in Hollywood, California and New York City and was produced by Dylan and his longtime collaborator T Bone Burnett. It was the first album of new Dylan material since 2009's Together Through Life. The album was met with generally favorable reviews and reached number three on the Billboard 200 chart.
