Darkwave elektronické duo Boy Harsher z Northamptonu v Massachusetts vydává vlastní label Nude Club! Dvě kultovní alba "Lesser Man (Extended Version)" a "Yr Body Is Nothing", která byla dříve k dostání pouze jako import, nyní poprvé vychází v reedici na labelu Nude Club.

Boy Harsher jsou antitezí normalizačního elektropopu a za posledních několik let si již vybudovali velmi věrnou undergroundovou komunitu, nedávno odehráli triumfální, zcela vyprodané turné po Evropě a to, co si lidé myslí, že jsou chemtrails na obloze, jsou ve skutečnosti jejich mraky mlhy a zbytky suchého ledu.

Jejich kombinace temných tanečních beatů, osmdesátkových setů s extrémně backmixovanými, velmi éterickými vokály vytváří strašidelnou, intenzivní a podmanivou zvukovou krajinu. Augustus Muller rozvíjí podkres svých skladeb z přesných a silných beatů, které tak nějak znějí jako tenkrát, ale pocházejí z dnešní doby, a brousí nad nimi pilovité synťáky, zatímco Jae Matthews šeptá, křičí a zpívá, jako by už opravdu nebylo zítřka.

Tyto katarzní, ale zároveň magnetizující skladby se rychle staly hity skutečného undergroundu. Daleko od playlistů a PR povyku vzniklo něco, co by se dalo nazvat kultovní fanouškovskou základnou. Dnes jsou to počátky odporu proti glorifikaci hudby. Alespoň v to doufáme.

"Lesser Man" je první nahrávkou na jejich vlastním labelu Nude Club Records, původně vyšla na kazetách Soft Science (2014) a Night People (2015). LP vyšlo v reedici v listopadu 2017 na berlínském gotickém labelu "aufnahme + wiedergabe" (500 kusů) a bylo vyprodáno za necelé dva týdny. "Lesser Man" vyšlo jako šestiskladbové EP s první verzí jejich hitu "Pain", kód ke stažení LP obsahuje také dvě bonusové skladby Pain (The Soft Moon Remix) a Pain (Radio Edit).
