"The Rising" (2002) is released on 2LP vinyl for the first time in more than 15 years. The album deals with themes of healing and redemption, among other things, which is fitting for the time after the devastating 9/11 attacks. The album also features the E Street Band reuniting in the studio for the first time in nearly a decade. For the first time in over a decade, five Bruce Springsteen albums are being released on vinyl by Columbia Records/Legacy Recordings. Together, these recordings comprise the bulk of Bruce Springsteen's output from the early millennium - a triumphant period that saw the long-awaited reunion of the E Street Band. Each album has been transferred from the original masters to ensure the best possible print quality.
