Caravan Palace take the music of the golden twenties and give it a futuristic sheen using dance beats - in their own cheeky and carefree way. Formed in 2005, Caravan Palace scored the first big hit of their career in 2008 when they released their self-titled debut album. The record means fun, lots of humour and an infectious party mood that spreads explosively wherever the band and their music are found. The single "Jolie Coquine" defined their new sound and was certified platinum in their home country of France. Their next album "Panic" was more experimental but no less exciting. It re-emphasized the burlesque charm of Caravan Palace and made it clear that they were not interested in any boundaries in terms of creativity. Now we can look forward to the third album "Robot - ", as well as a planned tour that will take Caravan Palace to Germany for four shows.
