"Beyond The Missouri Sky" is the title of the legendary 1996 album by bass legends Charlie Haden and Pat Metheny. Here, the two musicians' meditative, musically refined originals take their place alongside hauntingly beautiful compositions by Jimmy Webb, Henry Mancini and Ennio Morricone. Paco De Lucia, Al Di Meola and John McLaughlin formed the famous "Guitar Trio", which is also the title of the best-selling 1996 album, the successor to the equally legendary classic "Friday Night In San Francisco". Breathtaking craftsmanship combines with the deep musical soul of flamenco, tango, jazz and fusion. Café Montmartre, famous for its jazz concerts, is not in Paris, but in Copenhagen. Between 1987 and 1991, saxophone legend Stan Getz performed here regularly to packed houses. Fortunately, the concerts with Kenny Barron (piano), Rufus Reid (double bass) and Victor Lewis (drums) were recorded.

Product information The recording of the duo Charlie Haden and Pat Metheny has been long awaited by fans.
