Už název jejich nového alba "Not To Disappear" dává jasně najevo: Daughter přijeli, aby zůstali.

Téměř tři roky po mezinárodně uznávaném debutovém albu "If You Leave" britské indie folkové kombo konečně představuje další svědectví o své tvorbě.

"Not To Disappear" je desetipísňové album, s nímž se Daughter textově i zvukově vyvinuli. Nyní znějí sebevědoměji a vyzráleji než na svém předchůdci. Zůstaly však věrné svému stylu a kombinaci jemných melodií, sférických zvukových krajin a nezaměnitelného hlasu zpěvačky Eleny Tonry.

První singl z nového alba, "Doing The Right Thing", vyšel v září 2015. Zabývá se tématem stařecké demence, kterou Daughter v písni i videoklipu zobrazují přímočaře a s depresivním účinkem.

Všechny písně pro album "Not To Disappear" nahrálo trio v létě 2015 v New Yorku. Desku produkoval Nicolas Vernhes, který již pracoval pro kapely jako Deerhunter, War On Drugs nebo Animal Collective.

Výsledek se jmenuje "Not To Disappear" - sebevědomé, vyzrálé a přitom charakteristické album Daughter, zkrátka: nejlepší možné pokračování.
