The Eagles' debut album, released in June 1972, heralded a string of great successes that spanned several decades. Produced by Glyn Johns and featuring three big hits, the album established a sophisticated but understated Los Angeles style that was destined to conquer the country and make the group superstars. The album's very opening track, "Take It Easy," is a prime example of what the band can do: melodic harmonies, acoustic guitar tapestries, banjo sounds, folk and rock elements, and the superb craftsmanship of the musicians involved. Rob LoVerde remastered the analog tapes for this hybrid SACD from Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab. This comes in a mini LP sleeve with serial number.
