Vystřiženo z původních master pásků, vylisováno ve společnosti Optimal na film z USA. Láskyplná, přesná reprodukce obalu původního vydání LP včetně roztančeného loga kapely a názvu kapely a alba.

Jistě esence kapely z jejího nejúspěšnějšího období, sedmdesátých let. Léta před "Hotel California" byla pravděpodobně nejlepšími léty Eagles (i když díky Joe Walshovi přišly i budoucí skvělé momenty). Jejich směs country, folku a rocku je legendární a téměř sami nastavili laťku "zvuku jižní Kalifornie".

Jak ukazují nádherné harmonie v písni "Best Of My Love", stále v nich bylo dost vlivů country, které stíraly hranice mezi oběma žánry.

Hity "Take It Easy" a "Lyin Eyes" mohly klidně pocházet i z nové nashvillské školy. A konečně kytarový twang v úvodu "Already Gone" a sólové kytary ve "Witchy Woman" a "One Of These Nights" také signalizovaly jistou blízkost k tehdejším countryovým kytarovým velikánům.

Greatest Hits 1971-1975 působivě demonstrují magické momenty spolupráce Glena Freye a Dona Henleyho a také šíři vlivu Eagles na mnohé, kteří měli následovat v jejich stopách.
