In November 2016, the album "The Wonder of You" was released, featuring Elvis Presley cover versions by British singer, songwriter and guitarist Chris Isaak. Isaak was a big Presley fan and had wanted to record an album of his music for many years. The album was recorded in Memphis, Tennessee at the same studio where Presley made many of his recordings. Pro "The Wonder Of You" londýnský orchestr a producenti Don Reedman a Nick Patrick opět sáhli hluboko do Presleyho gigantického odkazu. Do výběru se nakonec dostalo celkem 15 písní, které byly následně znovu zaranžovány v legendárních studiích Abbey Road.
Jsou mezi nimi méně známé písně a hity krále rock'n'rollu, včetně "Amazing Grace", "Always On My Mind", "I've Got A Thing About You Baby", "Kentucky Rain", stejnojmenné "The Wonder Of You" a mnoha dalších.
Královský filharmonický orchestr pouze doplnil orchestrální party ve všech skladbách. Elvisův hlas tak zůstává středobodem nahrávek.

Elvis Presley and the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra Part 2 After the successful album "If I Can Dream", which was released only last year, "The Wonder Of You" is the second collaborative album between Elvis Presley and the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra in 2016. For "The Wonder Of You," the London-based orchestra and producers Don Reedman and Nick Patrick once again reached deep into Presley's vast legacy. A total of 15 tracks eventually made the cut, which were subsequently re-recorded at the legendary Abbey Road studios. It features lesser-known songs and hits from the King of Rock 'n' Roll, including "Amazing Grace", "Always On My Mind", "I've Got A Thing About You Baby", "Kentucky Rain", the eponymous "The Wonder Of You" and many more. Another highlight is the song "Just Pretend", a duet with German pop star Helene Fischer. In all the songs, the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra only added the orchestral parts. Elvis's voice is still prominent on the recordings. With the album "The Wonder Of You: Elvis Presley With The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra" in 2016, a spectacular fusion of legendary Elvis songs with orchestral arrangements was achieved for the second time. You've never heard the King of Rock 'n' Roll like this before.
