The song Centuries showcases Fall Out Boy in the classic mainstream rock vein that has characterized the band for over a decade. The pleasantly catchy song, which is definitely not just for rock music lovers, also samples a snippet of Suzanne Vega's famous hit Tom's Diner, which makes it sound familiar on first listen... The band also made a rather expensive video for the excellent single, which immediately hit the US sales charts after its release. It was filmed at Fort Henry in Ontario, Canada, and features the band as gladiators fighting a stronger opponent.
