In 2020, they will do it again and send a new album into the race, this time named simply after themselves: 'GoGo Penguin'. Recently, the Manchester-based trio of Chris Illingworth, Nick Black and Rob Turner (piano, bass and drums) released "A Humdrum Star" (2018) and the EP "Ocean In A Drop (Music For Film)" (2019). As on previous albums, "GoGo Penguin" showcases them as virtuoso musicians, experimenters with lateral thinking, and one of the most exciting ensembles the genre has to offer today.
