"Tied To A Star" od J Mascise je pokračováním jeho uznávaného sup-popového debutu "Several Shades Of Why". Album, kterému vévodí skladby "Every Morning" a "Wide Awake", nahrál a produkoval sám Mascis, mastermind Dinosaur Jr., a smíchal ho John Agnello v Bisquiteen v Amherstu.

Na "Tied To A Star" dále hostují Ken Maiuri (Young@Heart Chorus), Pall Jenkins (Black Heart Procession), Mark Mulcahy (Miracle Legion) a Chan Marshall (Cat Power).
