Na jaře 2017 ukončí držitel ceny Grammy John Mayer téměř čtyřletou pauzu ve vydávání desek. Devětatřicetiletý zpěvák, kytarista a skladatel vydává své sedmé studiové album "The Search For Everything", na jehož produkci se podílel Steve Jordan, který předtím v roce 2007 pracoval na klasickém albu Johna Mayera "Continuum". První singl "Love On The Weekend" vyšel na začátku roku.

"The Search For Everything" navazuje na album "Paradise Valley" z roku 2013, které se dostalo na druhé místo americké hitparády a na čtvrté místo britské hitparády. V Německu se LP deska, která obsahovala duet s Katy Perry "Who You Love", dostala na sedmnácté místo oficiální německé albové hitparády, stejně jako její předchůdce "Born And Raised" (2012). Za svou kariéru byl hudebník z Bridgeportu v Connecticutu oceněn již sedmi cenami Grammy a tři z jeho šesti alb se dostala na vrchol amerického žebříčku Billboard.

In spring 2017, Grammy Award winner John Mayer will end a nearly four-year hiatus from releasing albums. With "The Search For Everything", the thirty-nine-year-old singer, guitarist and songwriter releases his seventh studio album, co-produced by Steve Jordan, who worked on John Mayer's 2007 classic "Continuum". The first single "Love On The Weekend" was released earlier this year. "The Search For Everything" is the follow-up to 2013's "Paradise Valley", which reached #2 in the US and #4 in the UK charts. In Germany, the LP album, which included the duet with Katy Perry "Who You Love", reached number seventeen on the official German album chart, as did its predecessor "Born And Raised" (2012). The musician from Bridgeport, Connecticut has already won seven Grammy Awards in his career and three of his six albums have topped the US Billboard chart.
