In 1982, Judas Priest's eighth studio album "Screaming For Vengeance" was released and is still considered one of the strongest metal albums of all time. With anthems like "Electric Eye", "You've Got Another Thing Comin'" and the eponymous title track, the band became immortal. Tom Allom, who had already created a rich sound for the albums "Unleashed in the East", "British Steel" and "Point of Entry", produced again. Now the 30th Anniversary Edition is out with newly designed cover art and fantastic supplemental material: 6 bonus live tracks recorded at the San Antonio Civic Center in September 1982, as well as a bonus DVD featuring the complete performance at the San Bernadino Festival on May 29, 1983. "Screaming For Vengeance", osmé studiové album Judas Priest, vyšlo v roce 1982 a dodnes je považováno za jedno z nejsilnějších metalových alb všech dob. Hymnami jako "Electric Eye", "You've Got Another Thing Comin'" nebo stejnojmennou titulní skladbou se kapela stala nesmrtelnou.

Album opět produkoval Tom Allom, který vytvořil bohatý zvuk již pro alba "Unleashed in the East", "British Steel" a "Point of Entry". Nyní vychází edice k 30. výročí s přepracovaným obalem a fantastickým doplňkovým materiálem: 6 bonusových živých skladeb nahraných v San Antonio Civic Center v září 1982 a také bonusové DVD s kompletním vystoupením na festivalu v San Bernadinu 29. května 1983.

"Tu ostré kytarové fošny, tam chytlavé melodie (i v Halfordově zpěvu!), dovedně oděné do pestré produkce (Tom Allom). Tohle bylo všechno, jen ne soft rock, jak dokazuje "30th Anniversary Edition". Je ještě bohatší než předchozí reedice..." (Good Times, říjen/listopad 2012)

24. července 1982, 7.15 hod. Zvoní budík, rychle se obléknout: Kožené kalhoty, pásek s cvočky, kožená bunda. Dva šálky kávy. 8.05 hodin. Do autobusu, 42 minut cesty. 8.59 hod. Uli nejprve otevírá dveře svého obchodu a pak balíček s první zásilkou "Screaming For Vengeance". Kupuji si jednu a vracím se do autobusu. 10.12 hod. Sousedé klepou na zeď. Ocení, že oni a já jsme první v domě, kdo si užívá novou LP desku Priest.
