Krokus reached the peak of their career with their next studio album "Headhunter" in 1983, produced by Tom Allom (Judas Priest, Def Leppard, Y&T, Rough Cutt, among others). This album includes the single "Screaming In The Night", the band's biggest hit in the US up to that point. In addition, the other singles "Eat The Rich", a Bachman-Turner Overdrive cover of "Stayed Awake All Night", the title track "Headhunter" and "Night Wolf", a duet with Rob Halford (Judas Priest), are other classics of the band that still enhance their live set today. The album went gold in Canada and Switzerland and platinum in the US. On a joint tour with Def Leppard, a fistfight broke out and the irate Swiss were expelled. Krokus released the album Headhunter in 1983. The album was commercially successful and reached number 7 on the Billboard 200 chart. The album's lead single, "Tokyo Nights", reached number 18 on the Billboard Hot 100. Other singles from the album, "Screaming in the Night" and "Midnite Maniac", charted at #41 and #49 respectively on the Billboard Hot 100. The album's songs have been described as hard rock and heavy metal.
