The uplifting "Chci Žít" and the emotive "Do Nebe Se Propadám" add depth to the album's narrative. With "Milan Baroš," Kryštof pays homage to the Czech footballer, while "Koupím Celý Vesmír" and "Šampióni" round out the album with themes of ambition and victory. Overall, "Halywůd" is a testament to Kryštof's continued relevance in the Czech music scene. Album valt binnen het genre Rock, Pop, Pop Rock, Soft Rock en Tsjecho-Slowaakse klassiekers.

The band Kryštof presents its own Halywůd. The new album announces dance rhythms and choruses that we can't get out of our heads "American Halywůd is about dreams. The Ostrava one is about the ones that may never come true, but it's important to have them. And you can dream of being like Brad Pitt one day," says Richard Krajčo, frontman of the band Kryštof and author of all the songs on the new album, which will be released on 8 October. On the new album called Halywůd, besides the well-known hits such as Hvězdáři, Milan Baroš, Hned dabar (Come to be a light), Vánoční s Karel Gottem or the latest single Halywůd, there are also six more brand new songs. The album will be released as a vinyl alongside the classic CD. Halywůd is already the eighth full-length album by Kryštof, which makes it clear that the fans of this Ostrava-Havířov band need not be afraid of musical stagnation. The band Kryštof is based on its legendary poetics and haunting refrains, while still looking for new musical impulses. "There is love, defiance, anger, joy, euphoria, confession, protest and recapitulation," says Krajčo of his inspiration. Four producers contributed to the album. "Three songs were done by Armin Effenberger, who was given the task of getting us to a more 80s sound, Lukáš Chromek, who also did three things, eventually approached that, three songs were done by Fiedlerski and one each by Ondra Žatkuliak and Englishman Yoad Nevo," says the band's frontman. Fans can look forward to the danceable song "Co bude pak," the almost cult song "Vohul bassy," whose atmosphere is reminiscent of the work of the world superstar The Weeknd, the stadium anthem "Chci žít" and the unmistakable ballad with emotional lyrics called "Do se nebe propadám," which will also be the autumn single. The band is preparing a music video for this ballad, directed by Richard's wife Karin Krajčo Babinská. "I think he'll want to follow up his earlier music videos You and Me, Stay Here with Me and Christmas. From what she tells me, it's going to be quite an emotional whiplash. So let's see if she's lying," the singer describes with a smile. With the autumn and the album comes Richard Krajčo's film work, where he excels as an actor alongside Elizaveta Maximová in the central pair of the new Czech feature film Wish to Jesus (in cinemas on 11 November 2021).
Album valt binnen het genre Rock, Pop, Pop Rock, Soft Rock en Tsjecho-Slowaakse klassiekers.
