We Are Chaos is Marilyn Manson's eleventh studio album. It was created in close collaboration with Shooter Jennings, a Grammy Award-winning producer who has always been able to bring out new aspects of artists. Manson says of the album, "When I listen to We Are Chaos now, it feels like it was yesterday, or like the world is repeating itself like it always has, so the title track and the stories feel like we wrote them today. The recording was completely finished without a single soul listening to it during the process. There is definitely an A-side and a B-side in the traditional sense. But, like the LP, it's a flat circle and it's up to the listener to piece the last piece of the puzzle together into a picture of the songs." Considering the album was written before the pandemic hit our world, it's impossible not to feel a certain foreboding in these ten songs.
