Tubular Bells III je osmnácté album Mikea Oldfielda vydané v roce 1998. Navazuje na Oldfieldova alba Tubular Bells z roku 1973 a Tubular Bells II z roku 1992 a bylo vydáno u příležitosti 25. výročí vydání prvního alba Tubular Bells.

I když si skeptici a zejména kritici tehdy přirozeně mysleli, že Mike Oldfield bude kvůli nedostatku nových nápadů vydávat své první album "Tubular Bells" stále dokola, třetí "díl" nabízí více než jen dobrou zábavu.
I když melodie a struktura Oldfieldovy tvorby vychází z jeho starých dobrých děl (a jsem si jist, že právem), přesto se nachází "tady a teď", v mnohem modernějším balení. Například hned první skladba přichází s techno rytmem, který zprvu trochu odrazuje, ale po několikerém poslechu se ke skladbě dobře hodí.

Stejně jako předchůdce "Tubular Bells II" není ani toto dílo čistým pokračováním prvního alba, Mike Oldfield se od originálu zřetelně distancoval, takže označení remake už nelze použít. Opět zde najdeme struktury a melodie z originálu, ale také mnoho nových prvků. "Tubular Bells III" je tedy také orchestrální hudební dílo, ale rozhodně jiné než originál. Je samozřejmě modernější. Skladatel však zřejmě cítil potřebu pokračovat ve vyprávění příběhu. A to se mu podařilo. Struktura zůstala stejná, ale změnily se "vyprávěcí prostředky".
