The result is a selection of albums, THE BEST OF MIRO ŽBIRKA and MIRO ŽBIRKA SONGBOOK.With a total of 64 tracks on three CDs in a luxurious cardboard sleeve, THE BEST OF MIRO ŽBIRKA offers a truly hearty dose of ŽBIRKA's work! The selection is certainly not random, the album's dramaturgy was created by Meky himself and the booklet does not lack references to the original albums from which the tracks originally came. In addition to the legendary hits, the triple album also features a new track, Slovak, which is linked to the film Perinbaba a dva světy by Juraj Jakubisko. The recordings on THE BEST OF MIRO ŽBIRKA have been remastered this year and given a contemporary sound at London's renowned Abbey Road Studios, bringing an even more intense listening experience. The cross-sectional album is the de facto soundtrack to the film biography of MEKA, which soon after its release in Czech cinemas received very favourable feedback from viewers and reviewers.
