Do-it-yourself pop stars Even on their debut album, released two years ago, Oh Wonder didn't hold back with their songs. Quite the opposite: the do-it-yourself songwriter project, which writes, records and produces its own songs, released one song after another on the network, one a month, and their fan base grew and grew. So in 2017, the London indie-pop duo unveil their second studio album 'Ultralife', and once again there have been a few support tracks in the form of the title track, the hip hop influenced 'Lifetimes' and the songs 'My Friends', 'Heavy' and 'High On Humans'. All songs on "Ultralife" show that Josephine Vander Gucht and Anthony West have further refined their distinctive sound mix of indie and electropop combined with their distinctive voices over the past two years. A total of 13 songs await on "Ultralife", available on CD and LP. What the first album announced, album number two, "Ultralife" confirms: "Oh Wonder" is one of the most talented pop newcomers of today.
