The last two albums by the legendary American band on vinyl in their original packaging.The Pixies are one of the most influential American bands of the late 1980s. Bossanova" and "Trompe Le Monde", the last two albums of the Boston band, released in 1990 and 1991, are now re-released on vinyl in their original packaging. Bossanova" features two of Black Francis' biggest hits, "Velouria" and "Dig For Fire". After the surf-pop of "Bossanova", Black Francis and Kim Deal showed their gritty, rock side from their early years again a year later on "Trompe Le Monde". A cover version of "Head On," originally by The Jesus and Mary Chain, was released as the album's lead single.

Bossanova is the band's third studio album Pixies, released in 1990. The album was produced by Gil Norton and was the band's first album released on Elektra Records. Bossanova was a critical and commercial success, reaching number six on the Billboard 200. The album spawned the hit single "Velouria".
