The legendary British band Queen with the late frontman Freddie Mercury is releasing the soundtrack to the film Bohemian Rhapsody, which will be released in Czech cinemas on 1 November. The film celebrates the band, its music and its extraordinary frontman. The album also includes previously unreleased tracks from the 1985 Live Aid performance at Wembley.Alongside iconic songs such as Bohemian Rhapsody, Radio Ga Ga, Hammer To Fall and We Are The Champions, the album also features rare tracks recorded live, new versions of popular songs, and a selection of the best studio recordings that complete the comprehensive picture of Queen's career. There are a total of 22 tracks on the album, which, unlike the film, are here in their full unabridged versions. The film had its world premiere on 23 October and was released in Czech cinemas on 1 November. The character of Freddie is played by Rami Malek, Brian May is played by Gwilym Lee, Roger Taylor is played by Ben Hardy, John Deacon is played by Joe Mazello, and Lucy Boynton appears in the film as Freddie's longtime friend and muse Mary Austin. The film was an unprecedented success not only in Czech cinemas. It was no exception that the film was seen by audiences several times in a row.Queen sold over 300 million records during its lifetime and more are coming. They remain a rock evergreen whose catalogue of songs continues to dazzle new generations of listeners. Despite the loss of Freddie in 1991, the band has become ever bigger, thanks in part to TV shows such as Glee, American Idol and The X-Factor, where the band's songs have featured. Even after nearly 50 years of existence, Queen is still one of the most recognized and beloved bands in history.
