"Villains" is the seventh studio album from the stoner rock combo around Josh Homme and the eagerly awaited follow-up to 2013's "... Like Clockwork". QotSA recorded a total of nine brand new songs for it late last year, with none other than Mark Ronson (Lil Wayne, Robbie Williams, Adele, Bruno Mars, Paul McCartney) as producer. Mixing was done by Alan Moulder. The result shows that even a band as experienced and stylistically distinct as Queens Of The Stone Age can still develop their sound over the years. And we already found out what they will sound like in 2017 in June, when they released "The Way You Used To Do", the first single from the album "Villains". Queens Of The Stone Age are not standing still in 2017. On the contrary: their new album "Villains" combines a distinctive sound with a fresh wind.

QotSA pro něj na konci loňského roku nahráli celkem devět zbrusu nových písní, přičemž producentem nebyl nikdo jiný než Mark Ronson (Lil Wayne, Robbie Williams, Adele, Bruno Mars, Paul McCartney). Mixáž měl na starosti Alan Moulder.

Výsledek ukazuje, že i tak zkušená a stylově vyhraněná kapela, jako jsou Queens Of The Stone Age, může svůj zvuk v průběhu let dále rozvíjet.

A jak budou znít v roce 2017, odhalili už v červnu písní "The Way You Used To Do", prvním singlem z alba "Villains".

Queens Of The Stone Age nestojí na místě ani v roce 2017. Naopak: jejich nové album "Villains" kombinuje charakteristický zvuk se závanem čerstvého vzduchu.

Album Queens of the Stone Age "Villains" z roku 2017, které produkoval Mark Ronson a spoluprodukoval Mark Rankin, vychází znovu ve speciálním balení k pětiletému výročí s leptem, obi-stripem a limitovanou edicí plakátu Boneface.
