Album beschikbaar op CD in 2 uitgaven. Rainbow's 1995 album Stranger In Us All is a mixture of hard rock and heavy metal. It's a bit of a departure from their earlier work, which is more blues-based. This album has a more modern sound and is a bit sleeker. It's a good album, but it's not their best. Album valt binnen het genre Rock en Zwaar metaal.

Reissue of Ritchie Blackmore's Rainbow classic "Stranger In Us All"! Ritchie Blackmore rose to fame primarily as a founding member of the hard rock band Deep Purple, where his playing style and blending of classic melodies with rock and blues laid down many of the hallmarks of hard rock and heavy metal. After leaving Deep Purple, he formed the hard rock band Rainbow in 1975. Rainbow continued the hard rock of Deep Purple, but mixed it with elements of medieval music, and in the 1970s they defined the style of speed and power metal that emerged a few years later. In the 1980s, Rainbow played more commercial hard rock and stadium rock. The band was disbanded by Ritchie Blackmore in 1984 due to the upcoming Deep Purple reunion. In 1995, Rainbow was reformed, again under the name Ritchie Blackmore's Rainbow. From that time comes the album "Stranger In Us All", now released in an expanded edition on Cherry Red Records. His later partner, life partner and now wife Candice Night is heard as a backing vocalist on this album. She also contributed as a writer on some of the tracks. Highlights of the album include the tracks "Wolf To The Moon", "Cold Hearted Woman" and "Hall Of The Mountain King". Plus three bonus tracks! The extensive booklet includes informative liner notes! Recommended for fans of Deep Purple, Rainbow and Blackmore's Night!
