Rammstein are considered to be the main exponents of the Neue Deutsche Härte (literally translated as "New German Hardness") style, which combines hard rock, heavy metal and electronic music, complemented by predominantly German lyrics. The band's albums, which have sold over 20 million copies, have earned multiple gold and platinum certifications, and the band's theatrical performances, replete with pyrotechnics, have won numerous awards. Rammstein's greatest hits include Du Hast and Amerika.
