ROYAL BLOOD are a blend of tormented vocals, harsh drums and bass that lays down intricate details and a thunderous rhythm. ROYAL BLOOD are the result of a lineage that stretches from today's heroes Queens Of The Stone Age to the seminal Led Zeppelin and even further back to the early pioneers of the blues. They are a Wall Of Sound created by just two men: Mike Kerr howls venomous lines like "I've got a gun for a mouth and a bullet with your name on it", while his bass produces a roar that could be mistaken for the product of several musicians. Drummer Ben Thatcher in turn complements his bandmate with the controlled aggression of a young Dave Grohl. Their debut single "Out Of The Black" earned them considerable national airplay, a feat they repeated with the equally successful b-side "Come On Over". This was followed by praise from the press (NME, Clash, DIY and others) which resulted in ROYAL BLOOD being the only rock band to make the BBC Sound Poll 2014 list. Further recognition came from Arctic Monkeys and Foals - two bands ROYAL BLOOD sincerely admire. Recently, ROYAL BLOOD released their highly anticipated third single "Figure It Out" and contributed the track "Out Of The Black" to the new blockbuster film "WHOAMI", starring Elyas M'Barek, Hannah Herzsprung, Wotan Wilke and Tom Schilling among others.
