The title is a wink - and a good dose of self-irony: after SCORPIONS announced their farewell and last tour, the most frequent questions from journalists around the world are about a possible comeback. "Comeblack", a pun and a phrase at the same time. "The success of the 'Sting In The Tail' album and our farewell tour has just blown us away. The idea to return to the studio was born out of sheer enthusiasm! The incredible feedback from our fans, the wave of strength and determination that washed over us every night on stage." Completely newly produced and adapted to today's technology, the recordings of great SCORPIONS songs like "Rock You Like A Hurricane" and "Wind Of Change", as well as songs that have meant a tremendous amount to them throughout their career, represent milestones in musical history. "Why? Simply put, this album is an encore for our Die Hard fans and we want to thank them for their fantastic support over the years. It's also a tribute to legendary bands of the 60's such as the Beatles and the Rolls.

Název je pomrkáváním - a pořádnou dávkou sebeironie: poté, co SCORPIONS oznámili své rozloučení a ohlásili poslední turné, nejčastější otázky novinářů z celého světa se týkaly možného návratu. "Comeblack", slovní hříčka a parodie zároveň.

"Úspěch alba 'Sting In The Tail' a našeho rozlučkového turné nás jednoduše ohromil. Nápad vrátit se do studia se zrodil z čirého nadšení! Ta neuvěřitelná zpětná vazba od našich fanoušků, vlna síly a oddanosti, která nás každý večer na pódiu zaplavovala."

Zcela nově vznikly nahrávky velkých titulů SCORPIONS, jako jsou "Rock You Like A Hurricane" a "Wind Of Change", přizpůsobené dnešním technologiím, stejně jako písně, které pro ně v průběhu kariéry hodně znamenaly a představují milníky v hudební historii.
