Třetí album Sigur Rós a pro mnohé nejtypičtější album Sigur Rós slaví 28. října 2022 dvacáté výročí. Album bylo remasterováno legendárním masteringovým inženýrem Tedem Jensonem ze Sterling Sound, který masteroval také všechna alba Sigur Rós od alba "Takk".

"( )" je jediným albem, na kterém Jónsi zpívá výhradně beze slov v jazyce hopelandic. Snaha zbavit hudbu významu a umožnit posluchači, aby si ji vyložil po svém, se týká každé z osmi písní alba, které jsou všechny bezejmenné. Album je rámcově rozděleno na dvě poloviny, které od sebe dělí kritických 36 sekund ticha. První polovina alba je lehká a optimistická, druhá temná a melancholická - vrcholí hřmotným vyvrcholením skladby Untitled #8, která je závěrečnou písní každého koncertu Sigur Rós od jejího vzniku v roce 2000.
