The 2012 album Sparks : Real Extended - The 12 Inch Mixes (1979 - 1984) is a compilation of remixes of Sparks songs . The album contains remixes by artists such as The Human League, Soft Cell and New Order. All of the remixes on the album are extended versions and many of them are dance remixes. The album is a great compilation of the best remixes of Sparks songs from the early 80s.

The Sparks - Brothers Ron and Russell Mael won the favour of generations of fans in the early 1970s and are one of the most influential bands ever. Morrissey, Siouxsie Sioux, the Pet Shop Boys and many others count the Sparks' "loyal following" among the internationally successful. This compilation of 12-inch versions of Sparks' work is a collection of extended mixes reworked in the studio for use at discos.
