Swans, legendární newyorská post-punková kapela kolem hlavního představitele Michaela Giry, byla založena v roce 1982, v roce 1997 se rozpadla a nakonec se reformovala s uznávanými alby "My Father Will Guide Me Up A Rope To The Sky" (2010) a "The Seer" z roku 2012.

Tato dvě mistrovská díla vyjdou v reedici na CD a LP začátkem března 2014, v květnu pak u Mute vyjde i nové studiové album Swans.

Mute se Swans spolupracovalo již v 80. letech a prostřednictvím sublabelu Product Inc. vydalo klasické dílo "Children Of God".
Studiové album "My Father Will Guide Me Up A Rope To The Sky" z roku 2010 bylo dříve ve velmi omezené míře k dostání pouze jako dovoz v Německu.
