Po třech studiových albech a více než deseti letech v hudební branži představují The Interrupters své nové album "In The Wild". Tento čtrnáctiskladbový opus je skutečnou událostí; je to příběh o přežití, příběh o houževnatosti, o odvaze kapely, která odolává snadnému nutkání jednoduše opakovat to, co fungovalo předtím.

Během výluky se Aimee Interrupter, její partner a kytarista Kevin Bivona a jeho mladší dvojčata Jesse (bicí) a Justin (baskytara) rozhodli přiložit své nečinné ruce k dílu. Poté, co si v garáži společně vybudovali domácí studio, převzal Kevin producentské povinnosti a stal se tentokrát "hlavním mužem". Album vznikalo nenuceně a organicky a proces nahrávání byl očividně zábavný, což se odráží i ve zvuku alba, které klouže po spektru dechberoucího punk rocku, doo-wopu, gospelu, dancehallu a obvyklých příklonů kapely k dvoutónové tradici. To se projevuje i v optimistické náladě a oslnivém seznamu zúčastněných hostů (Tim Armstrong, Rhoda Dakar, Hepcat, The Skints).

Díky intimnímu prostředí, které si vytvořili, a uvolněnému přístupu je výsledkem dosud nejosobnější album Interrupters, s nímž se všichni čtyři cítí být nejvíce spjati. Navazuje na jejich průlomové album 'Fight The Good Fight' z roku 2018, z něhož vzešlo několik singlů včetně skladby 'She's Kerosene', která byla do dnešního dne streamována více než 50 milionkrát. Tento hit poslal kapelu na přední příčky rádiových hitparád po celém světě a naživo si zahráli s každým od Dropkick Murphys po Green Day.

Na jaře 2020 byla kapela na cestě na osmitýdenní pekelně mega stadionové turné, na kterém měla v USA podporovat Green Day, Weezer a Fall Out Boy, když plány kapely, stejně jako zbytku světa, padly. Vynucený čas doma jim poskytl tolik potřebnou pauzu, po níž následovala injekce tvůrčí energie, která vedla kapelu k napsání více než 80 písní, kurátorství živého alba a dokumentárního filmu o jejich životě a první cestě do Japonska.
