Andrew Carwood is a distinguished English conductor, singer, and scholar, particularly renowned for his work in the field of early music. He is the director of music at St. Paul's Cathedral in London, a position he has held since 2007, making him the first non-organist to hold this post since the 12th century. Carwood is also the founder and director of The Cardinall's Musick, an acclaimed vocal ensemble that specializes in Renaissance polyphony and has won numerous awards for their recordings, including the Gramophone Award for Early Music.
