International Power Metal Supergroup

Unisonic is a power metal supergroup formed in 2009, consisting of notable artists from various established bands. The lineup includes Michael Kiske (former Helloween vocalist), Kai Hansen (guitarist and founding member of Helloween, who later moved on to Gamma Ray), Mandy Meyer (known for his work with Asia, Gotthard, and Krokus), Dennis Ward (bassist from Pink Cream 69), and Kosta Zafiriou (also from Pink Cream 69). The band's self-titled debut album "Unisonic" was released in 2012, showcasing their melodic metal sound that resonated with fans of their previous bands. They followed up with their second studio album "Light Of Dawn" in 2014, which continued to build on their established style and was well-received within the metal community. Unisonic also captured their live performance energy in the album "Live in Wacken," which featured recordings from their appearance at the renowned Wacken Open Air festival. The band's formation brought together influential musicians in the power metal scene, and they have since carved out a distinct identity within the genre.
