In top form to their beginnings, Alison Goldfrapp and Will Gregory aka Goldfrapp are kind of going back to their 2017 beginnings with their new album "Silver Eye": 'Metal Machine Pop'. They've already revealed what it's going to sound like in advance in the first single "Anymore": dark electronic soundscapes meet sultry pop melodies and Alison's soft-breathing vocals. Goldfrapp recorded a total of ten new songs for the record in Dallas and London. There they were supported by several well-known producers and musicians such as John Congleton (St. Vincent, John Grant, Wild Beasts, etc.), Bobby Krlic aka The Haxan Cloak and Leo Abrahams (Brian Eno). The mixing of "Silver Eye" was done by David Wrench (The xx, FKA Twigs, Caribou) and Daniel Miller.
