A twelve-part series of SAGA albums containing all the band's studio albums from 1989-2007. The individual releases of the series will span a full year, with two albums released chronologically every two months. All twelve albums will be accompanied by previously unreleased bonus tracks, which were recorded on April 28 at the Fabrik in Hamburg. The digipaks contain beautifully produced booklets including fan material, photos and original newspaper articles. SAGA comments on each album in detailed footnotes, providing valuable information about what was happening at the time. "Generation 13" was released in 1995 as SAGA's first concept album and is considered by many progressive rock fans to be one of the best concept albums in progressive rock. Keyboardist Jim Gilmour was responsible for the concept and storyline of the album and found inspiration in the book "13th GEN: Abort, Retry, Ignore, Fail" by Neil Howe and Bill Strauss."
