Asking Alexandria is a British rock band that was formed in 2008 in York, North Yorkshire. The group has undergone several lineup changes throughout its career, with guitarist Ben Bruce being the only constant member. They initially gained prominence with their debut album "Stand Up and Scream" in 2009, which combined metalcore with electronic music influences. Over the years, Asking Alexandria has released multiple albums and has seen a stylistic evolution from their metalcore roots to a more diverse rock sound. Their self-titled album "Asking Alexandria," released in 2017, marked the return of original lead vocalist Danny Worsnop, who had previously departed from the band in 2015. The band's sound continued to evolve with subsequent albums such as "Like A House On Fire" (2020) and "See What's On The Inside" (2021), showcasing a shift towards a more mainstream rock approach. Asking Alexandria has built a substantial fan base worldwide and is known for their energetic live performances and dedication to their music.
